This is the pedagogy of a polymath, what it takes to have knowledge and skills that span many different subjects and fields of study, with deep curiosity, true expertise and connected thinking abilities to combine ideas from different fields to solve complex problems. Simply reading a summary of each topic is not enough.
We take an interdisciplinary approach to understanding Islam which means that we do not limit ourselves to one perspective. Keeping with our methodology, we study the religious and philosophical sciences, and social and hard sciences, in a very comprehensive way. They are listed below and grouped under four categories, namely Thought, Law, History and Language. You will appreciate the ways that apparently independent subjects are thoughtfully grouped together for their similarities.
I see that the best way to learn about Islam in a non traditional path is to to pursue your personal interests and intuitions as they relate to it, by which you can progress through and comprehend more than you ever thought possible. THOUGHT: Aqidah (Theology)
